Eligibility Requirements
Juniors must be in the top eighth of their class and must be currently enrolled in or have taken two 300-level courses in their engineering discipline. For example, if you are an Electrical Engineering major, you must be taking or have already taken two classes denoted ECEN 3XX. Juniors are defined as having between 60 and 89 completed hours.
Seniors must be in the top fifth of their class and must be currently enrolled in or have taken four 300-level courses in their engineering discipline. For example, if you are an Electrical Engineering major, you must be taking or have already taken at least four classes denoted ECEN 3XX. Seniors are defined as having at least 90 completed hours.
Graduate Students must be in the top fifth of their class (minimum 3.75 GPR), have at least 50% of course work completed, and must obtain a letter of recommendation from an appropriate faculty member who can attest to the above requirements.
** Transfer students must have completed at least 24 hours at Texas A&M University in order to be eligible for membership in the Texas Delta Chapter.
